Join us to march in Chatham’s 4th of July Parade.
The July 4th parade is a timeless and fun Chatham tradition. Chatham Girl Scouts march in the parade every year. The younger girls, Daisies and Brownies, LOVE participating!
Parade Basics:
• Girl Scouts line up on Dempster Rd. near the corner of Hillside Ave at 10am
• Plan to meet by 10:00 am to organize your group. The parade begins promptly at 10:30 am
Younger Scouts must be accompanied by an adult
• The parade route travel from Hillside, up Main Street and ends at the Chatham Middle School entrance. Refreshments are provided for marchers after the parade courtesy of the Chatham Volunteer Fire Company and are served behind the Methodist Church just to the right of the Middle School entrance
• Historically Chatham Girl Scouts have marched with the Girl Scout banner and flag and wear red, white and blue as well as carry American flags
