Chatham Jaycees usually makes a donation to Chatham Girl Scouts (we submit a request in early April) and request we attend their Distinguished Service Award ceremony to accept their donation. Chatham loves to have a Gold or Silver Award recipient accept the donation on behalf of Chatham Girl Scouts and share their service project with the audience. The Jaycess check is used to assist Award projects that need financial assistance near the end. All projects receiving donation assistance must apply to Chatham Girl Scouts.
